Zhao Liying Shows Off the Results of Her Tiny Waist in a Midriff Baring Dress
All eyes were on Legend of Fei actress Zanilia Zhao Liying as she stepped out in style to attend a press event today. Zhao Liying was wearing a light aqua figure hugging dress that highlighted her tiny waistline and her super toned arms.

I guess you can’t really fault her for opting to wear a midriff baring dress criss-crossed at the waist to show off what some have coined her “ant” waistline and more importantly, that well defined set of toned abs she’s sporting as she’s been wont to do for some events in the past. After all, if you’ve got it, flaunt it, right? If you didn’t know any better, you’d be hard pressed to believe that she just had her baby with husband Feng Shaofeng just over a year ago.

But thanks to diet and diligent exercise (I know, clichéd right but check out some photos she shared from a recent workout), the actress is back in fighting form stronger than ever.

  2. Not healthy, too scary, should not do this as an idol bc she is suppose to be a good role model.

  3. Weight issue is a common thing in China..so if u see a celebrity that has a, as we called it, 'healthy weight', he or she is considered overweight. But aside from that ZLY does seems healthy.

  4. I like ZLY but she is too thin. The huge issue about weight in China, it is really concerning.

  5. If you are over 100 lbs/45 kilograms, then you are considered FAT in Asian countries. Size 0 or less is the norm.

  6. NOrmal weight for her height is 104-127...i doubt she's over 104....way too skinny. I really like her but only for her projects, not a idol whatsoever when it comes to health.

  7. omg that is the tiniest waist I have ever seen. Honestly the being 'extremely thin to the point we can see your ribs' beauty standards in Asia is just sad.

  8. I think it's the beauty standard in China, Korea, Japan only. Not asia. If you guys see girls from India, most of them have great bodies. South east asia, emm.. not as thin as China, Kr, Jp. But i read, they also dont really think, thin girls are sexy. Cmiiw.

    1. I know of Korea and China beauty standards and all but get your facts about Japan right first

  9. Just because someone is thin it doesn't mean they are unhealthy, bulimic or anorexic and some woman just happen to have thin waists anyway. I saw some other pictures from this event and she looks great, her arms look thick and well-toned. It's not like she going around telling people to barely eat to look great like I seen some other Asian female celebrities do, talking about their unhealthy diets and their scary low weight, as if it's a good thing that their fans should congratulated them about. Do I think she would look even better with a bit more weight, sure, but it's her body and as long she's healthy and happy with it, people should stop judging her her.

    1. If they naturally skinny or exercise to skinny within time I would say too. But ZLY weight was normal to begin with, she did everything to lose weight really fast (3-5months?) especially right after giving birth. Not healthy. Not good role model either, people in China are jealous of this but this is so dangerous.

  10. Like what 9 said. ^

There are many people with very tiny, thin waist despite their background. It's not uncommon, and it doesn't always mean they are "unhealthy." People need to stop normalizing "having more meat equals healthy" when that is not always the case. ZLY seems to be exercising and having a clean diet to keep up with her body figure, so she is still staying healthy in her own ways despite her small waist. Her body seems more toned and in good proportion with her body, no sticking out ribcage seen. She still has her hips as she need that for having babies so it's all good tbh.

    1. her hips are only visible now because she had a baby.

    2. I know, which is why as long as she still has hips then it's fine. She can still gain other weight along the way and if she does get pregnant again.

    3. She does not plan to gain even 1 ibs. She never dared to wear clothes like these in the past bc she thought she too fat for them, she only wears now after losing too much ibs.
After gave birth she was not even fat at all but was veeeeeeerrrrry scared she even went as far as wearing a beekeeper's costume to hide her weight gained. She lose tons of weight really fast because she was scared of netizens calling her ugly, I highly doubt she lose weight the healthy way like some fans say. If they truly care about her stop making her so afraid of gaining ibs. It's insane!

  11. This is edited. U should see real life photos. She is scarily thin. She her wide shoulder, small chest, small waist and skinny legs. This outfit makes her back look so long and her legs look short. She works out only on the upper half so it looks off balance. Being toned is good but she looks quite underweight to have any muscle

    1. Those were not muscle, but bones LOL

    2. When I watch The Monkey King, I thought all the girls in there are damn skinny to the bone. Then they go stand next to her............wow............…………

She is a freaken barbie size and they're all huge.

She looked perfect after she gave birth. When she filmed Legend of Fei initially she had more weight at the beginning. She looked perfect but netizens were bad they called her ugly fat old. By the end they finished filming, I look at her picture, she was this size and super tiny. Even tinier than when she was in The Monkey King. Netizens are so cruel! But somehow she is more confidence with this size though, she been hiding for a while and finally comes back out only bc she feel like she regained her beauty image.

  12. She's such a great actress, I sincerely hope she maintains a healthy weight O.o

  13. Zhao Liying is beautiful and awesome!

  14. Zanilla Zhao is always being compared with Yang Mi. So if YM can maintain her body, so can she.

Her waistline is really this thin in Princess Agents.

    1. Almost the same but this time is even skinnier. I feel bad for her bc her fans are disgusting, they would actually spit at her when they think her image doesn’t meet their standards. If she gets a little old or a little more pounds, they threaten to never buy anything from her. This why after pregnancy she tried hard to hide, when spotted no matter how hot the weather is she still wore huge bulky things to coverup.
Image really shouldn’t always be the most important thing for actors but fans today are vicious, even aging is not allowed not to mention weight that you can have a bit more control over.

YM is naturally skinny since young age, she admits to maintain it by not eating too much, which, I don't think is healthy either. ZLY is worrisome too bc of how fast she tried to shed off weight that weren't even weight.

  15. Judging by the muscles in her last Weibo post and her abs here, she is clearly working out and is healthy. She looks tiny because she works for it and it doesn't necessarily mean she is underweight or unhealthy.

    1. That was barely muscle. FYI in order to gain muscle u have to eat a lot, skinny people have really hard time gaining any muscle.
Most C-girls being that skinny have eating disorders, sumthing an idol cant reveal. Highly doubt she eats at all or intend to get real muscles bc she needs to meet the C-beauty standard.

    2. If she lied about the split I think she could lie about muscle too lol tbh
