Xiao Zhan Writes, 'Don't Hurt Others!' Seemingly in Response to His Antis Cyberbullying He Jiong

xiao zhan he jiong
Wow, seems Xiao Zhan is firmly back in the entertainment saddle with a vengeance! As if you hadn’t noticed, the actor has been trending heavily on Chinese social media this past week and a half that fans worried about his lack of activities in the past can now put their concerns down to bed.

Today, the actor posted the message “caused everyone trouble, don’t hurt others!” on his personal page, which people suspect is his response to some anti-fans scolding veteran host and actor He Jiong. So apparently, word spread that He Jiong was planning to invite Xiao Zhan to go on his show Back to Field 向往的生活 and anti-fans not pleased by the news went on a frenzy to rebuke him.

Turns out it was all for naught though because the rumours of an invite to appear in Back to Field were reportedly false! Even if it were true, it doesn't make this right. Aiyah, will people never learn? Anyway, Xiao Zhan’s studio also echoed Xiao Zhan's message by simply telling people to “please stop all the slander and spreading rumours”.

  2. The haters need to get a life, period. Instead of focusing on hating and harming others for no logical reason, they need to focus on bettering themselves as a human being and their family.

  3. I usually have no opinion in to the whole XZ saga but this somehow appeared "fake" to me. When was him when his fans making messes and people were waiting for him to say something? He was nowhere to be seen and never said anything.
But now apologized for his antis because they bothered the most respected and loved HJ? LOL Like he is trying to show he is such a great person in the most unnecessary time. Not saying his haters were right to bully innocent people either.

Ant it's not my business anyway but I can't help but roll eyes

    1. When he does say something, omg he's fake. When he doesn't say anything... Oh, why doesn't he care? hE sUx!

Ugh, so much hypocrisy. You're right though... It's not your business.

    2. Nobody was waiting for XZ to come say something, except the antis bc they created a tricky situation for him as long as he say anything it will all be turned into bad words.

If anybody, nobody is looking for you to speak anon 3, but you did. What makes you think XZ can't speak for others? Just because you can't ever speak for others!

Celebs are cruel people even when their spouse is caught in rumors they will not say anything to protect each other. But He Jiong is not even a special person to XZ and XZ speaks up for him. So, BOOYAH! Roll your eyes away.

XZ was silent because he was investigating everything, you want him to speak up for who?
His fans --They know they're crazy and it's their fault, they were not waiting for their idol to save them but they wanted to be the heroes who save their idol.
The annoying porn fanfic writer --That person was an ass hole.

    3. Why should he be responsible for what his so-called "fans" do? I agree that the situation was handled poorly, but it's absolutely horrible to throw all the blame on him just because he's a public figure and it's easier to hurt him than nobodies on the internet.

His reputation got trashed bc some crazy people did crazy things for "love". It's not his fault, nor his responsabilities. He's also a victim.

    6. Now where is that annoying anon 3, this is a very good example where somebody should be apologizing. But they don't and ran away.

And that annoying person expect an innocent person who hadn't done anything to come and say something. WTF? He/she thinks they very good person, omg what a shame.

  4. In this internet age, you say something, people will have so many things to say. If you keep silent, they will also say many things. Well, that is the price of being a celebrity, and a huge star like XZ. you cannot please everybody. Well, their stars will shine brighter anyway.

  5. I can't imagine that ppl are scolding He Jiong 🤦, he's a very likable celebrity tbh

  6. The Chinese general public is tired of seeing XIao Zhan on hot searches, his name has been dragged through the mud. At the rate of how things are going, the whole Chinese entertainment industry is going to get pull and force to rectify the way they do business. A lot of parents got angry this time because they found out that their underage children are asking for and sometime stealing money in order to buy his song, promoting unhealthy over consumerism. He is currently being reported as having bad influence on youth and people will use this reason to report his work to the authority. The pending lawsuits doesn't look optimistic either, even if he wins, he will lose a lot of money.

I'm seeing that all of this will eventually lead to platforms having the need to adopt a real name system. This means that there won't be anymore anonymity, for the purpose of rectifying an unhealthy trend, the public gives authority a reasonable argument to accept and implement a solution that pave the way for the future of China.

    50 years from now.....Hey China!......Welcome to 1984.....

Please check back in 50 years to see if this will becomes a prophet :)

    1. If some parents cannot teach their children, XZ should go teach their children? How ridiculous. Why don't YOU go teach those children instead of blaming XZ? Did he personally ask people to do those stupid things? If he did, you better prove it before creating baseless rumors. You sounds so very jealous of his famous, you are jealous people are not talking about you everyday. I bet nobody even talks to you at all, you don't have to listen to people talking about XZ beause they are not even speaking to you. If you are that jealous, just walk away.

If he is endorsing things and that is wrong then, you better report each and every other artists out there as well because all other idols are also endorsing and promoting things. Go report everyone. Here we caught those antis who love to report people. They blame that XZ fans report this and that, but it was them who make report about everything. Even things the public like to talk about too much will be a crime and get reported.

    2. @6.a Back off please. You have a point but Anon 6 wasn't blaming anybody. He was just delivering news, making theories, going on his own little way. You're being so mean to him.

Your comment is so ridiculous. You are blaming him for other people's actions again. You are one of those typical people who are blaming everything on him. How people are spending their money is their business. What does it have to do with XZ? Get a life and don't come to this site again. Thank you!

  8. I'm amazed at the extend of how blind some fans are. If you follow the event closely in China, you will know that this is no longer about fan wars, a03....it has become much bigger than that now. There are so many articles written by professional writers and critics, and this all boils down to the people vs what Xiao Zhan - his company and fans represents.

Looking at the publication of these articles, from the Guangming Daily to the Culture Monthly (this is a publication funded by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China!) you can see that the general public is pretty much against him. Things got worst on 427, another significant event that turns the tide, making a lot of people's with slight disdain turns into hate. Not going to go into it in detail here, but it is a matter of using money to prevent people from speaking up. Using the power of money to silence others instead of going through the legal route. Obviously now this leads to people thinking that he took this route because he knew that he will lose if he went the legal route.

Xiao Zhan is probably going to get his name written down in the history book, but not in a flattery way. I doubt he will survive this event, things does not look promising. .

Don't hate people who are trying to tell you the TRUE status quo because although the truth hurts, it needs to be heard!

    1. You are really jealous of him. If his name gets written bad in history book, that is going to be the same with your idol and all the Chinese idols because EVERYONE of them have FANS too! Stop acting like he is the only person with lots of crazy fans.
The only reason why he's getting hate right now is because he is currently the most popular and people like you are really jealous.

    2. Maybe you should go into details because you make no sense. Trying to position yourself on a pedestal looking down on us with your anonymity, hiding behind a screen, taking jabs at someone like Xiao Zhan who is publicly shamed and condemned all the time by just existing. He has immature fans like all celebs, and cannot act as God and control their ways. His company didn't outwardly cancel anyone except getting back at hateful commenters and antis. I may be a fan, but all I want is for people to be kind to Xiao Zhan because we all know the toll fame and hate can have on someone like him... such as Goo Hara and Sulli.

    3. @ Anonymous 8

I think your comment was biased as antis. Did you even know how and why this event that dragged XZ happen? You said that general people are against XZ, I think only unreasonable and irrational people who will attack him. He didn't even do something that hurt others or against the law. Even his fans did it, it's not XZ responsibility to take the blame, based on law. If you think XZ's fans did something wrong by reporting AO3, in my opinion, if AO3 didn't break the laws or the rules in the country, it wouldn't be closed anyway.
You said that general people hate XZ because he brings bad influences to young generation, basically there are lots of celebrities and public figures in entertainment industry who are more famous than him and also has crazy fans that will do crazy things, not mention those K-pop idols and internet influencers.
What you said about using money to prevent people from speaking up, from my point of view is, XZ and his agency prefer peaceful reaction to solve those antis doing, instead of going through legal route. Because he knew there are under-age antis who did those awful things, and if he dealt with legal route, they will be exposed and also impacted on their future. (I remembered that Yang Mi also experienced this kind of case).
XZ is a kind person who consider others condition more than himself. He is mature, far-thinking and rational. I'm not fans of XZ, but I see injustice and unfair treatment upon him. If he speak up now, it's just because he defend his friend. If you are not a selfish person, I believe you will do the same when your friend is bullied by others.

  10. If you hang out on weibo long enough, you will know how vicious XZ fans are. Right now, they are receiving retributions for the harm they have caused towards other artists and fandoms. I'm sure that anyone would be caution if they want to collaborate wth him in the future as both Yang Zi and Wang Yibo who worked with him before received a lot of slanders from his fan. Both of them even end up suing his fans for defamation.

I don't think XZ is the problem. It is his crazy fans that is the root cause of everything. What he needs now is to be low-key, not fans jumping out everywhere keeping the heat up for the incident in this past few months.

    1. If you hang out on weibo long enough, ALL Chinese fans are vicious. All celebrities should really be low-key at this point, really, it's serious.
      :D

Yes, he has MORE fans. So maybe his fans did MORE annoying things because they are a huge group. But the smaller groups aren't any better, they are causing trouble everywhere too. They are smaller and couldn't win arguments with bigger groups, so they are always unhappy and angry at bigger groups.

    1. Idk wym.
They're pulling out "facts" and statistics to warrant the hate that Xiao Zhan is getting. I think that's total BS. People are entitled to their opinions if they don't like Xiao Zhan. You can have that opinion and state it. Not free of consequences from XZ fans ofc. But people don't have to contribute to bullying tactics to get their opinions across. Good day.

  12. The typical attitude of XZ fans is to snipe at anyone who said anything bad about XZ. People are entitled to their own opinions, likes, and dislikes. The best thing one can do for their idol is to ignore it and not give it a glance, doing so will add fire to the fuel, especially during this special period when the situation has yet to pass the heat.

    1. That is literally the mindset of tons of fandoms surrounding various artists and celebrities. People are allowed to not like Xiao Zhan, but to essentially plan on hurting his career by boycotting his work and slandering him in a hurtful way is very toxic and uncalled for. They may not care for Xiao Zhan, but their words carry enough weight to harm the mind and heart. You can have your opinion and NOT be a bully.

Watch this video to explain why people hate XZ
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuFW4j0iceg

It's all about competition. At first it was Bai Yu and Zhu Yilong, and now Xiao Zhan. See the similarities? They are all fast rising actors. Only after a few dramas, they are first place in top 10 billable. The competitors that hate these actors must be after the position of sitting at the top of first place.
