Wu Xiubo Embroiled in Scandal After Claims of Multiple Affairs

Ruby Chen claims affair Wu Xiubo
Wu Xiubo who most recently starred in Advisors Alliance and is considered to be an esteemed veteran in the industry has been embroiled in controversy after shocking claims that he had an affair with not just one but many women.

It started when actress Ruby Chen revealed to her circle of friends that she had a 7-year affair with Wu Xiubo. She further reveals that the affair began when she was 18 years old and that even when she was already the mistress, Wu Xiubo cheated on her also. She proceeds to name Zhang Zhixi as one of his other mistresses.

Zhang Zhixi denies affair Wu Xiubo
Zhang Zhixi has denied this rumor with a statement that she doesn't like having to deal with this during the Mid-Autumn Festival. She wishes all the parties happiness and asks to not be involved.

After news of Ruby Chen's affair with Wu Xiubo broke, netizen quickly suspected that 19 year old He Landou, who worked with Wu Xiubo on City of Desire, is also another one of Wu Xiubo's mistresses. You may remember her as the young Young Pipi in Moonshine and Valentine

He Landou denies affair Wu Xiubo
He Landou's studio quickly debunks this rumor with this statement below.

Wu Xiubo multiple affair claims
It basically says that He Landou and Wu Xiubo are strictly professional. She resents being involved in the controversy and hopes that her name be left out of it.

Wu Xiubo multiple affair claims
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Ruby Chen really opened up a Pandora's box with her revelation but, correct me if I am wrong, Wu Xiubo has yet to confirm her allegations of an affair. It seems that other women's names are being thrown into the scandal that it's not clear what's true and what's not.

    1. It's been a while. They want to attract traffic and is quite biased too based on their posts.

    2. Lol what's the problem with it?
It's beneficial for people who want to know what's happening in C-ent apart from dramas and movies.
Also, I think this counts as a personal blog, so personal opinions are not disallowed.
Smh people are so entitled nowadays.

    3. The blooger is entitle to write any thing on her personal blog. You can not read her blog. But dont go to someone space and be rude about their content. You can find others that you like. You are a guest and you need to know basic manner when you are in the host space. Buzz off if you are no happy.

    5. These are the trending topics on Weibo at the moment. OP is not even siding with any party but information anyone can look it up online. By providing translations for scandals like this, people have a better idea about C-ent. It's not always sunshine and rainbow in C-ent with only dramas and movies news.

    6. This website started off as a TV drama/movies site. The core readers are interested in dramas and movies. I get that the webmaster is trying to attract more traffic by reporting on these scandals. But it actually has the opposite effect, the host is pushing away the core fanbase (who supported the site in its early days) just to chase website traffic with these tabloid type of stories.

Also, I don't see how pointing out an observation is "being entitled". This website has been venturing into tabloid stories for a while now, it's just no one dared to point it out. If I wrote "this site sucks, it needs to report more dramas and movies news" that would be considered entitlement.

Of course, this website is owned by the webmaster and he/she can do whatever he/she wants. However, there are better ways to attract traffic than to indulge in tabloids. Once a website or business becomes known for its tabloid stories, no one would really take it seriously anymore. And you'll eventually lose business in the long term.

I used to come to this website all the time to check out the latest news on my favorite drama and movies. But now I rarely do. It's been a good couple of years on this site, and now it's time to say goodbye. See you guys and gals in dramaland.

    7. You are exaggerating. The vast majority of articles on this site are drama related. There's nothing wrong with keeping us in the loop of the hot topics trending and going on behind the scenes in the Chinese entertainment industry too. Plenty of regular posters are interested and it creates interesting discussions.

@Anonymous 9:03 PM How exactly are they biased? They just translate and summarise the news. Or just be honest and admit you mean biased because you don't like that they translate negative news about your fave?

It's up to DramPanda boss and her chosen contributors to post anything they want to as it's their personal site. This site is a fantastic resource for C-drama. No one is forcing you to read anything. If you don't like it, then don't post on the article or don't post on the blog at all.

  2. He said in an interview a few years ago that he is very promiscuous and that he never denies a woman or takes responsibility. When people dug that out, it was pretty much like an admission. But yeah all these girls keep getting dragged in. I also believe Zhang Zhixi said that she was harassed by him.

    1. I'm one of the earlier readers of this blog, way back when it was using another name. I don't mind the inclusion of C-entertainment news, and it's not like they are dominating the site. Dramas are still predominant here.

    2. Just because you don't like the fact that the webmaster is posting articles about C-entertainment news does not mean that every person that comes on this site dislikes it either. Don't speak for others when they have the freewill to express their thoughts and opinions whether they have an issue with the news shared on the site or not.

I don't have access to a lot of C-ent. news so I appreciate it when sites like this share what's the latest, hottest news too. By the way, thanks dramapanda for all that you've been doing! <3
