Li Xin Yue, played by Jing Tian, is a regular white collar worker that purchased a painting from a well-known artist. Jing Xiao Tian, played by Chen Xiao, is an undercover policer officer that is tasked to follow her. This is going to be an interesting drama since it's not an adaptation from a novel, movie nor is it a remake from another country's show. This is a completely original screenplay by Wang Yan Zhen and directed by Mao Wei Ning, Wang Yi Wei and Wang Dian.

During the booting ceremony function, the Director put together a rough edit to showcase the idea behind the new suspense romance drama. Mao Wei Ning is known for his works around war and revolution in the Republican era and it will be his first time directing a modern youth drama. Being a veteran and working with younger directors that he has essentially mentored for years, Mao Wei Ning jokes that his strategy to make a youth-oriented drama is not to interfere.

  1. It's nice to see an original story compared to all the remakes and adaptations. Isn't this cast a bit old for a youth drama?
