The Entangled Life of Qingluo 蔓蔓青萝 is a 30-episode Chinese TV series adapted from a novel of the same name by Zhung Zhuang 桩桩 starring Yao Di, Qiao Zhenyu and Zhu Jiaqi.
Because of Qingluo's status as an illegitimate daughter of the prime minister, she is deprived of the opportunities given to her sisters. Nevertheless, she is beautiful and talented taking after her mother who has been mentoring her without anybody knowing. Along the way, Qingluo meets the 4th prince Liu Fei and Liu Yu and she gets entangled in a whirlwind romance between two lovers.
Apparently, producers took creative liberty to another level as they completely bumped up Qiao Zhenyu's 4th prince from second lead to first. It makes sense commercially since Qiao Zhenyu is infinitely more recognizable than Zhu Jiaqi who is a newcomer in the industry. I haven't read the original but unless the 4th prince really had more shippers than the lead, I would assume the change would not appeal to fans of the novel.
