Drama Panda is a place to talk about Asian dramas, from Chinese to Korean and more with a soft spot for wuxia and the historical.
To name the website Kung Fu Panda wouldn't be a stretch but that's taken. Hence, drama panda is born.
Hi! I'm Anne, currently living in the lion city-state of Singapore. I made a spur of the moment decision to create this website after having repeated bouts of drama withdrawals. I enjoy reading comments on YouTube and thought, "why not create a blog to interact with like-minded people?"
I love period dramas such as wuxia (ancient Chinese series) and sageuk (Korean historical dramas) so expect a ton of those here. But really, I watch anything - Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese dramas, Glee, Heroes even anime.
I plead guilty to shows that have some serious eye candy because I think that if we're going to invest hours and hours, it might as well be for someone cute.
I started out listing all my drama recommendations but I've since ventured to other things drama-related, mostly first impressions as a quick introduction because I generally have a hard time finishing recaps.
I also spend countless hours surfing anything under the sun, which you may see here.
If you have a burning desire to write a recap or a first impressions or simply pay tribute to your favorite c-drama, k-drama, pinoy teleserye, actor or actress.. please reach out via the email below.
People frequently ask where they can find dramas with english subs so here is my compilation of websites where you can watch to your heart's content.
